Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager, Data & Innovation to grow demand for digital, data, and technology-enabled offerings, including AI-enabled services, Global Compliance. The role connects market demand with solution expertise and sits between the customer and the offering, working across Sales, Technical, Product, Operations, and Marketing.

This is a non-commissioned role; success is measured by opportunities opened and progressed, the quality of customer requirements

Qualifications

• Identify and qualify opportunities for data, digital, and AI-enabled offerings.
• Bridge market demand with solution expertise; shape offerings around customer needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical, Product, Operations and Marketing to support conversations.

• The role connects market demand with solution expertise. The person finds and qualifies opportunities,works through sellers to progress them, and gathers the customer requirements that shape how eachoffering is scoped, packaged, and explained. It sits between the customer and the offering, works
  across Sales, Technical, Product, Operations, and Marketing, and supports customer conversations asthe product expert.
• This is a non-commissioned role. It does not carry a sales quota or replace account ownership.Success is measured by the opportunities it opens and progresses, the quality of customerrequirements it captures, and the adoption of the solutions it supports
