Job Description & Essential Functions of the Business Development Manager
Job Description: In conjunction with the US team, this position is responsible for developing Rental Staging accounts in the assigned regions in traditional concert touring and corporate markets, as well as accounts in virtual production industries.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement the company strategy for business development in assigned markets, focusing on opening new opportunities in those industries and generating leads to meet or exceed targets.
- Identify new accounts for LED product sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to expand sales.
- Forecast sales activities and set performance goals in coordination with the team.
- Participate in key project demo shoot-outs, travel with the sales team, present product solutions, and analyze customer needs and project info.
- Act as a product and solution advocate. Lead relationships with key accounts, provide technical information, and secure orders.
- Gather feedback through field activities and relay it to relevant departments such as sales, marketing, product management, and R&D.
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports on the R&S market summary.
- Host RS clients for visits to HQ and factory in China.
- Participate in marketing events like seminars and trade shows to enhance brand awareness.
- Perform other duties as assigned and capable of being performed.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business administration, or management.
- Background in sales, engineering, or project management within the LED industry.
- Strong technical knowledge with hands-on experience with LED displays and peripherals.
- Familiarity with Nova-star and Brompton software.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Client-oriented problem-solving skills and solution delivery.
- Ability to work under high-pressure environments.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs consecutively.
Work Location:
- Remote or Orlando Office and Warehouse as needed.
- May require overtime, flexible hours, and travel for meetings, trade shows, training, demos, and other events.
