Base pay range

$55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Business Development Manager

Direct Hire/Full Time

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 + uncapped commission plan

**100% remote, but must reside within 35 miles outside of Seattle, WA, and travel to Portland at least once a quarter is required**

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be part of the Everest sales team and play an integral role in accelerating our growth. You will be responsible for managing current accounts as well as assist in developing new accounts. You will be part of developing the sales plan and the entire sales cycle from lead generation through closing. You will be the primary contact and be responsible for discovering the needs of your customers, identifying, and engaging with decision-makers, presenting Everest capabilities & services, and negotiating agreements. As an Account Manager, you will be accountable for meeting sales goals with the full assistance of the company to make you successful.

Role Responsibilities

  • Research and target relevant companies using the latest prospecting tools
  • Present Everest capabilities to new prospective customers
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
  • Partner with Sales Development to create 3X+ quota in the targeted pipeline from your territory
  • Negotiate agreements with customers
  • Consistently track prospect data, activities, and pipeline in CRM
  • Provide accurate forecasts on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • 5-7+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Selling IT Staffing is required. In addition, experience with selling Core Engineering specifically in telecommunications, aerospace, and semi-conductor is highly preferred.
  • A positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude, and desire to far exceed expectations.
  • Be able to handle presentations and be able to drive conversations forward with stakeholders.
  • Proven success in closing $100K plus deal sizes, and consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, prospecting, negotiating service agreements, and closing customers.
  • Hunter mindset, Excellent team player, Account Management & Relationship building skills.
  • Expertise in solution selling helpful.
  • IT domain knowledge in one or more areas helpful - Big Data, Cloud, Mobile .Net & Java applications.
  • Proficiency in CRM.
  • Must be open to travel to Portland, OR at least once a quarter for client account management, and team integration.
