Future Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager for the labels and flexible packaging sector. The role focuses on expanding the customer portfolio, nurturing existing accounts and driving revenue growth in the South Coast / Southern England region.

You will own the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, with travel to meet customers and develop opportunities. Strong B2B sales experience and a strategic mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or account management.
• Experience within print, labels, packaging or a related manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to proactively approach new customers, generate leads and develop opportunities.
• Strategic sales planning, pipeline management and market development.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, target and win new business opportunities across the labels, print and flexible packaging markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and grow accounts.
• Research target markets, identify prospective customers and build a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.
• Arrange and attend customer meetings, deliver presentations and promote the company's capabilities and solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and work with internal production and operations teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and manage opportunities through to successful conversion.
• Monitor sales performance, maintain CRM records and provide regular updates on pipeline activity.
• Represent the business at customer visits, industry events and networking opportunities.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets.
