We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support marketing materials, pitches and RFPs, events, award submissions, competitive intelligence research, marketing operations, new business and marketing strategies, and other related activities. The role reports to a Business Development Manager and is part of the global Marketing and BD team.

Responsibilities
  1. Marketing Materials: Create and maintain global marketing materials such as fact sheets, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, and other tailored content for designated practice areas.
  2. Experience Lists: Gather and update experience lists for pitches, RFPs, presentations, and submissions, managing data entry in our database.
  3. Pitches/RFPs: Assist with pitch and RFP preparations, gather relevant materials, oversee final electronic deliverables, and maintain tracking files.
  4. Directory/Award Submissions: Use LexTrack to coordinate and compile submissions for legal directories and awards like Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.
  5. Newsletters: Support content development and coordination for internal and client-facing newsletters.
  6. Event Support/Coordination: Assist in organizing K&S-hosted events, including invitations, content, and follow-up activities.
  7. Conference Sponsorships: Support sponsorship activities and coordinate related tasks.
  8. Research & Reporting: Conduct research on clients, competitors, industry trends, and assist in tracking BD activities and reporting.
  9. Client Targeting & Business Planning: Support strategic client targeting and business planning efforts across practice groups and regions.
  10. Lateral Onboarding: Assist with onboarding lateral hires, collaborating with team members.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree required.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  3. Legal business development/marketing experience preferred.
  4. Knowledge of marketing and business development activities is essential.
  5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
