A leading nonprofit organization is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising and grant management efforts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, assisting with grant processing, donor stewardship, and research. Position Summary:
American Bird Conservancy (ABC) is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to assist development staff in fundraising and grant management. The Development Coordinator provides essential support to the development team by assisting in grant management, grant reporting, and fundraising operations. This role is responsible for coordinating grant-related meetings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting prospect research and proposal development. Additionally, the Development Coordinator supports the Senior Development Officer with donor stewardship and engagement, as well as managing donor moves in the CRM.

Under the supervision of Development staff, assist with processing new programmatic gifts and grants by ensuring they are coded and allocated correctly, entering them into program budgets, creating donor acknowledgement letters, reviewing donor requirements and restrictions, and notifying program staff.
