Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Business Relationship Manager I in Business Banking. You will manage a portfolio of 100-130 clients, delivering tailored financial solutions and education to help grow their businesses, while maintaining risk controls and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes in-person client engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive relationship development across branches and partners to connect clients with the right specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required.
• 1 year of experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance client needs with risk and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100-130 business clients with revenue of $1–$5M; provide banking solutions and manage credit opportunities up to $500k.
• Deliver tailored business banking solutions to meet clients' financial needs.
• Use business/finance/banking knowledge to identify, recommend, and promote suitable solutions while managing risk.
• Conduct in-person calls with prospects, COIs, and clients to build relationships and review strategies with management.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and cultivate long-term banking relationships.
• Collaborate with partners across lines of business to connect clients with specialists.
• Support branches and uphold risk management and regulatory compliance.
