Job summary

Pearland ISD in Pearland, TX seeks a school bus driver to provide safe, orderly transportation of students to and from school and on extracurricular trips. Must hold a valid Class B Texas CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements and a current TX DPS School Bus Driver Certification.

Requirements include age 18+, ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening, pass annual physicals, and read/write English.

Qualifications

Must be physically able to climb in and out of the school bus emergency door to perform evacuation procedures; continuous sitting, reaching, bending; repetitive hand and arm motions; work outside and inside; moderate exposure to extreme temperatures (heat); exposure to vehicle fumes. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
