Requirements / Qualifications

• The Bus Driver 1 requires a Type 2 Certification.


• Class B Driver's license with passenger endorsement with no restrictions that would preclude driving on the job.


• Possession of a California Highway Patrol School Bus Driver's certificate with no restrictions which would preclude driving on the job.


• Department of Transportation Medical Certificate


• Two Letters of Recommendation

Examination Procedures

Following the recruitment closing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. Those who pass screening will be invited to participate in a written examination, DATE :TBD. Those who pass the written examination will be invited to a Performance and Interview Panel with subject matter experts, Date: TBD. Based on the final scores, a ranked candidate list will be established. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a final interview with the hiring administrator. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily.

The Fremont Unified School District is a Merit System District and fills all vacancies in the classified service through competitive examinations.
