Job summary

Technology Navigators in the Austin, TX area is seeking a Gas and Chemical Systems Bulk Gas Team Lead to own, operate, and improve specialty and bulk gas equipment critical to semiconductor manufacturing.

The lead will guide a diverse engineering team, coordinate with operations, maintenance, and vendors, and drive safety, reliability, and project execution from planning through startup and commissioning of new equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering, operations, or facility support experience.
• Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) and/or Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the organization to engineering customers, procurement and finance teams, vendors, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in safety initiatives, programs, and activities to drive world-class safety performance while fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical ownership for bulk gas supply systems, safety and quality standards, and continuous improvement efforts, interacting with operations, maintenance, construction, and vendors.
• Troubleshoot emergent equipment issues and provide technical direction for resolutions.
• Plan and execute non-standard equipment maintenance to address failures or implement system improvements.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing groups to provide technical support and collaborate on safety, quality, and system reliability improvements.
• Support commissioning and startup of new equipment installations.
• Lead and support MOC activities for PSM and RMP covered processes.
