Job summary

TYLin is a globally recognized infrastructure consulting firm seeking a Buildings Engineering Intern in our Boston, MA office for Summer 2027. You will support the project team in structural design and drawings for diverse building types, from concept through construction, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

The role emphasizes collaboration, organization, and practical application of Civil/Architectural Engineering concepts, with exposure to REVIT, MS Word, Excel, and engineering

Qualifications

• Requires current 3rd year standing in accredited Civil/Architectural Engineering program (structures focus).
• Completion of steel and concrete design classes preferred or in progress.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to assist in preparing structural design and drawings for buildings from conceptual and preliminary stages through construction.
• Perform field review for projects under construction and visit existing buildings to document conditions.
• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Assist with computer modeling and hand calculations.
