Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer for our Chandler, AZ properties. You will maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, perform rounds, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable building operations.

Responsibilities include repairing fixtures, monitoring energy management, coordinating with building staff, and adhering to safety procedures and applicable codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment and control systems for comfortable environment.
• Monitor energy management and perform preventive maintenance per standards.
• Repair doors, ceilings, and other general property repairs as needed.
• Inspect and maintain emergency systems and life safety features.
• Respond to emergencies and comply with applicable codes and safety procedures.

Education
