Arcadis is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for Building Systems in Seattle to support a multidisciplinary design team. You will design and document power, lighting, and related building systems, coordinate with architects and other engineers, and ensure code compliance across multiple projects.

The role emphasizes delivering first-in-class electrical solutions, with strong collaboration, documentation, and client-facing communication throughout pursuit, design, and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of building systems experience.
• Strong design and documentation skills for power, lighting, fire alarm, and AV systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs and drawings for building systems using CAD/BIM tools.
• Identify cost-effective design solutions and coordinate with project teams.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, and related standards.
