Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Building Science Project Engineer to perform Property & Facility Condition Assessments and generate due diligence reports for CRE clients nationwide.

Based in Towson, MD with a hybrid work arrangement involving weekly site visits; travel is expected. The role emphasizes accurate reporting, collaboration with project teams, and delivering reliable solutions for clients and transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating
• 3+ years of experience performing property inspections
• 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems and recommend immediate repairs
• Perform site reconnaissance, data compilation and project research
• Technical report authoring and preparation of maps, appendices, etc.
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones; communicate progress to Project Manager/client
• Provide solid recommendations and solutions considering transaction impact
• Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope
