Job summary

Intertek is seeking an enthusiastic Inside Sales - Client Champion for our Plano, TX location, focusing on selling Testing & Certification services to manufacturers and influencers in the Building Product space. This role sits within the Building & Construction Products team and offers a path to grow a versatile sales career in a dynamic industry.

The position reports to Sales Management, with daily use of the CRM, proposals, and prospecting activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in Building and Construction Products industry.
• 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming inquiries, and process quotations and opportunities.
• Prepare proposals based on customer needs within the CRM system.
• Follow up on all proposals.
• Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calls and leveraging existing connections.
• Use CRM to track sales activities, quoting, orders won and revenue.
• Develop territory with Sales Management to increase new and existing sales.
• Collaborate with Operations to manage opportunities.
• Conduct tours of facilities and respond to customer requests.
• Collaborate with marketing on tradeshows, events and webinars.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
