Job summary

Location: Melrose (Bronx). Reports to Senior Manager of Building Operations. Exempt status. Annual compensation ranges from $66,300 to $75,000.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant experience may substitute for some education.
Minimum of one year in the Human Service field required; supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of property management issues such as rent collection and Section 8 housing applications.
Need strong writing, leadership, and teamwork skills; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

Maintain safety and maintenance of building; conduct site condition reviews with Superintendent.
Supervise maintenance and front desk staff; evaluate work quality.
Keep records on building systems; ensure equipment and facilities function properly.
Complete preventive maintenance and routine work orders; address code violations.
Attend hearings for ECB, DOB, FDNY, DOS, HPD violations; liaise with vendors.
Coordinate purchasing, on-site events, and apartment inspections; manage budgets and petty cash.
