Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking Building Manager talent at BM2 or BM3 level to oversee maintenance programs for TA55 facilities. The role ensures system functionality and safety, coordinating work orders, MSDS, and maintenance activities in alignment with Conduct of Operations and related standards.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in engineering or related technical field with several years of related experience.

Qualifications

Ability to conceptualize and fully communicate major elements of facility maintenance to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Working knowledge with facility maintenance and/or construction management including systems engineering design and maintenance, safety basis, configuration management programs, work control, facility control systems, and upgrades/renovations.
Knowledge of government and industry regulations affecting facility maintenance and preventive maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

Process Facility Service Requests to customers and maintenance team with accurate scope and cost coding.
Develop clear scope of work descriptions for WOs and subcontractor requests.
Coordinate and schedule Quick Fix/Minor Maintenance work orders.
Serve as back-up Lockout/Tag-out Coordinator and track WO costs.
Understand CMMS and communicate facility issues to technical and non-technical staff.
