Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a Maintenance Manager 5 for TA55 to lead Maintenance and Site Services, coordinating with multiple groups to ensure mission-aligned, safe operations. You will guide program development, personnel development, and sound fiscal stewardship in a nuclear facility.

Demonstrated leadership in facility maintenance, safety-focused execution, and ability to interpret complex documents and regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 12 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• DOE Order 426.2 minimum: BS in engineering/related science and 4 years nuclear experience; substitutions allowed up to 50%.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or CFM/CMRP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and management of assigned employees in a collaborative environment.
• Oversee facility maintenance programs, safety, and work controls in support of TA55 mission.
• Manage coordination with FOD, Operations, Engineering, and Program groups to set priorities.
• Ensure compliance with LANL policies on Integrated Safety Management, Formality of Operations, and Safety Basis.
• Develop and implement organizational strategies and objectives; communicate with peers and customers.
