Job summary

N3B Los Alamos is seeking a Facility Coordinator to manage operations, building systems, space planning, and vendor coordination for safe, secure facilities at the Los Alamos site.

The role requires coordinating repairs, budgets, and records, while ensuring safety, security, and regulatory compliance in a regulated environment. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or closely related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered on a year-for-year basis.
• Knowledge of facility operations and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with landlords and service providers for building systems operation.
• Primary contact for internal customers, vendors, security, and landlords.
• Respond to facility emergencies and provide after-hours support if needed.
• Conduct inspections, coordinate repairs, and maintain safe, compliant facilities.
• Oversee space planning, furniture installation, moves, and minor renovations.
• Obtain quotes, coordinate contractor services, and supervise improvement projects.
• Monitor contractor performance for safety and codes compliance.
• Assist in budgeting and keep facility records and reports.
