Job summary

TruTeam in Pensacola, FL is seeking a results-oriented Sales Consultant to drive growth in residential and light commercial markets. You will identify prospects, present proposals, and close deals while building lasting relationships with contractor partners.

The role requires 3+ years of sales in construction, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally. We offer a base salary with commissions, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum age 18+ years.
• Valid driver''s license required if operating a vehicle for company purposes.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites to identify safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
