Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant in Florida to sell insulation and building materials to residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify new customers, conduct daily sales calls, and manage accounts while meeting monthly targets.

Expect a local travel footprint and a safety-first approach from first contact through project completion. The role requires 3+ years in building-products sales, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customers’ needs.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ pricing.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage the customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
