Carter Lumber in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative dedicated to building and sustaining relationships with local contractors and remodelers. You will drive sales of our full line of building materials and installed services, visit job sites, and manage post-sale relationships while tracking customer needs and trends.

Success comes from strong communication, planning, and knowledge of home-building basics, with a compensation structure featuring salary plus uncapped

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in building materials outside sales
• Knowledge of home building basics
• Create material estimates/quotes and special orders
• Open new accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis
• Learn to read blueprints and provide material take off lists
• Ability to work independently
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Attend HBA/builder/company functions as required

Responsabilidades

• Sell our full line of building materials and installed services to local contractors, builders and remodelers.
• Manage each sold job and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with customers.
• Collect and update customer product usage data and trends; visit job sites as needed.
• Maintain schedules and respond quickly to issues or changes on projects.
