Position Description

POSITION TITLE: Facility Maintenance Technician

REPORTS TO: General Manager

DIRECT REPORTS: None

COMPENSATION: $19.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE

Purpose

The Facility Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure smooth facility operations, safety, and an excellent member experience.

The ideal candidate is engaging, diligent, organized, results-driven, and customer service oriented.

Deliverables

• Communication: Provide daily updates and document work for the General Manager.
• Scheduling & Planning: Collaborate with the GM to schedule and verify work completion.
• Inspection and Testing: Ensure equipment and systems function properly.
• Safety: Maintain safety through inspections and communication.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and fix malfunctions in equipment and systems.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct inspections and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Work Orders: Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety regulations and building codes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance records and update the CMMS system daily.
• Equipment Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee and service building and workout equipment.
• Emergency Response: Address urgent issues swiftly.
• Team Collaboration: Work with staff, contractors, and vendors.
• General Upkeep: Perform tasks like patching, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
