Purpose

The Facility Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems, ensuring safety and operational efficiency to enhance member experience. The role requires engagement, organization, diligence, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily communication and updates to the General Manager, documenting work and seeking feedback.
• Coordinate with the General Manager for scheduling and verifying work completion.
• Inspect and test equipment and systems for proper functioning.
• Ensure safety of members, staff, and assets through inspections and communication.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance as outlined in the CMMS system.
• Respond promptly to work requests and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Monitor and test building systems for performance.
• Maintain and refurbish workout equipment, including assembly and painting.
• Address urgent maintenance issues quickly.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform general upkeep tasks like patching, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
