The salary pay grade range is $30.09 to $45.17. Hours for this position are M-F 6am-2:30pm with overtime as needed.

**What We're Seeking**
A skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Technician to support our facility operations. This role is responsible for maintaining HVAC, refrigeration equipment, and facility systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive environment.

**What You'll Do (Responsibilities)**

1. General
   • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to uphold food safety and product integrity.
   • Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE in designated areas.
   • Assist with tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
   • Communicate effectively with diverse team members.
   • Uphold all company policies and procedures.
2. Safety
   • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
   • Complete quarterly safety training.
   • Follow safety rules and plant procedures.
3. Building Maintenance
   • Understand facility equipment layout, including HVAC, refrigeration, utilities, infrastructure.
   • Perform general maintenance tasks (plumbing, painting, yard work, etc.).
   • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic processes.
   • Maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
   • Operate shop equipment and use a CMMS for work orders and record-keeping.
   • Support maintenance planning, parts inventory, and apply LEAN principles.
   • Stay current on food safety and quality requirements.
   • Complete paperwork accurately and work with external vendors.
4. Teamwork
   • Develop and update preventive maintenance procedures.
   • Participate in new equipment installation projects.
   • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely repairs.
   • Train technicians as needed.
5. Equipment & PPE
   • Use hand tools, power tools, meters, welding equipment.
   • PPE includes cut-resistant gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs.

**What You'll Need (Qualifications)**

1. Degree or certification in Building Maintenance, HVAC, or related experience.
2. 2+ years of hands-on experience.
3. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and HVAC repairs.
4. Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
6. Effective time management, communication skills, and reliability.
7. Cross-cultural competence.

**Physical Demands/Work Environment**

• Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently.
• Work in temperatures from -10F to 90+F.
• Climb ladders, work at heights, navigate confined spaces.
