Job Description

MalaceHR has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in Middle River, MD. The Technician will report daily to the Site Lead and support them to provide quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment and well-kept grounds. Safety is a primary concern and the highest priority with all work activities.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Mowing, edging, and fertilizing lawns.
• Weeding and mulching landscape beds.
• Trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs, and removing unwanted, dead, or damaged trees.
• Planting shrubs, flowers, and trees, and watering gardens, lawns, and landscapes.
• Monitoring and maintaining plant health.

Additional duties:

• Assist with snow removal, including shoveling, spreading salt, and maintaining clean entryways. Availability for off-hour calls and response to the facility is required.

Assist the fleet/vehicle technician with maintenance of fleet equipment and vehicles. Must be mechanically inclined, capable of diagnosing and correcting deficiencies, and supporting other tradesmen in performing assigned tasks.

Skills in carpentry, light plumbing, painting, and grounds maintenance are a plus.

Computer aptitude is necessary to update files in the CMMS and order parts or equipment online.

Must pass a background check and drug test.

Must have a valid driver's license and a high school diploma.
