Are you a hardworking, reliable maintenance technician? We’re looking for you! We need a maintenance professional who has the know-how to keep our historic mansions in top shape. You’ll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and come up with ideas for preventative measures to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks. Compensation:

$20 - $23.50 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repair skills
  • Perform routine maintenance in public spaces, guest rooms, back-of-the-house spaces, and grounds
  • Conduct inspections and identify preventative measures to prolong equipment life and ensure safety
  • Maintain rooms and spaces in optimal condition, including repairs, touch-up painting, and fixture replacements
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems and execute plumbing repairs as needed
  • Use power and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Participate in overall hotel cleanliness and safety procedures
  • Maintain the exterior of the building and grounds
  • Assist in the maintenance and safety of the hotel, reporting hazards or injuries immediately
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and work ethic
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
