Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team. You will support projects through field investigations, testing, technical analysis, and report preparation.

Work with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate building envelope performance, support construction quality, and deliver practical solutions for diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• 2+ years of building enclosure consulting experience including field investigations and testing.
• Licenses or certifications (P.E./RA or IIBEC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform building science and infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and assist CAD drafting when needed.
• Prepare clear technical reports with observations and recommendations.
• Support project management and client communication.
