Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 2+ years of building enclosure consulting experience including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Licensure or certifications (P.E., RA) or IIBEC certs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform building science & infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and site plans; assist with CAD drafting as needed.
• Develop testing protocols and interpret test results.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning activities, and enclosure investigations.
• Assist with design reviews and peer review of specifications and submittals.
• Maintain familiarity with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM and CSI.
