ECS Group of Companies in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Building Enclosure Project Associate to support building science and infrastructure projects on site. You will perform field investigations, testing, and reporting while collaborating with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams to improve envelope performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture (NCARB) or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design reviews, or forensic assessments.
• Licensed or certified in at least one of the preferred credentials (P.E., RA, IIBEC certifications, or BECxP/CxA BE) is a plus.

Mansioni

• Support building science and infrastructure projects with field investigations, testing, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct site observations and inspections of roofing and enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and site plans; assist with CAD drafting when needed.
• Perform enclosure testing and help develop testing protocols and test plans.
• Interpret test results, identify deficiencies, and suggest corrective actions.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning activities, and enclosure investigations.
• Assist with design reviews and peer review of specifications and submittals.
• Maintain familiarity with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, and CSI building codes.
