Job summary

ECS Southeast, LLP is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Mobile, AL. The role involves field investigations, testing, technical analysis, and report preparation to support a variety of building envelope projects.

You will collaborate with experienced consultants, interpret drawings, and assist with design reviews, ensuring compliance with codes (IBC/ASHRAE/ASTM/CSI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support building enclosure consulting projects through field investigations, testing, technical analysis, and report preparation.
• Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate building envelope performance and provide practical solutions.
• Prepare clear technical reports summarizing observations, testing results, and recommendations.
