Job summary

ECS is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Baton Rouge, LA. You will support enclosure consulting projects through field investigations, testing, analysis, and report preparation.

Work with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate building envelope performance, support construction quality, and deliver practical solutions for a variety of facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil/structural/architectural engineering (NCARB).
2+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
Licensing or certification preferred (PE, RA, IIBEC certifications, BECxP).

Responsibilities

Perform building enclosure testing, site observations, and reporting.
Assist with design reviews and repair design for building envelope components.
Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
Prepare clear technical reports and maintain project documentation.
