Job summary

The role requires reading complex drawings, performing maintenance, coordinating with contractors, monitoring BMS and energy usage, and available for shift work, on-call emergencies, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years as Maintenance Technician/Building Engineer or equivalent.
• HVAC training and related certifications or experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with building management systems and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building systems with minimal downtime.
• Read complex drawings, ladders, and schematics.
• Coordinate daily maintenance and oversee contractors as needed.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and energy management systems.
• Inspect and service equipment, document work and results.
• Provide tenant relations and responsive service, including after-hours support.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and safety programs.
• Assist in training less experienced staff.
