Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer position focuses on monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and meet physical requirements.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Maintain an energy management program to operate systems efficiently.
• Assist with implementing a preventive maintenance program and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure operation within design specs.
• Apply knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
• Lead by example and build consensus to reach agreements.
• Impact customer, operational, project or service activities within teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and explain difficult information.
