Job summary

ECS Southeast, LLP in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to support building envelope consulting projects. You will perform field investigations, testing, and technical analysis while assisting with report preparation and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years in building enclosure consulting, field investigations, testing, or forensic assessments.
• Licensure/certifications preferred: PE, RA, IIBEC certs, UW–Madison BECxP/CxA+BE.

Responsibilities

• Perform building science and infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and site plans; assist with CAD work as needed.
• Develop testing protocols and interpret results to identify deficiencies.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning, and enclosure investigations.
• Support design reviews and repair design for building envelopes; peer review specs/submittals.
• Maintain familiarity with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, CSI codes and standards.
• Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers on multiple projects.
