Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an engineer to design, configure, and operate comprehensive building control systems including fire and security subsystems. You will develop software, perform commissioning, and provide detailed submittals for customers and field teams.

The role requires experience with low voltage subsystems, JCI software programming, and familiarization with industry protocols (LON, BACnet). Travel is required and qualifications include a bachelor's in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum 3 years' experience.
• Demon strated knowledge of construction or HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of control theory, building automation systems and subsystems.
• Experience with JCI software programming.
• Integration of low voltage subsystems using LON, BACnet, etc.
• Ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures, and operates complete building control systems to meet project requirements.
• Develops software programs and performs commissioning to ensure proper operation.
• Provides submittals to communicate design and operation to customers and field teams.
• Assist in loading and commissioning of system and network-level controllers.
• Provide field change information for as-built drawings and software.
