Job summary
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced engineer to design, configure, and service complex HVAC building control systems and related low-voltage subsystems. You will develop software programs, create submittal drawings and equipment schedules, and assist with on-site commissioning and validation to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and 8+ years of experience.
- Experience in construction, service, or HVAC industry.
- Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.
- Experience integrating low voltage subsystems using LON/BACnet.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences; proficient drafting software.
Responsibilities
- Designs, configures and services technically complex building control systems for the facility.
- Develops and tests software programs to operate the system per requirements.
- Coordinates drawings, equipment schedules for submittals and services.
- Selects, orders and tracks materials for assigned jobs.
- Assists in loading, commissioning and validation of systems with subcontractors.
- Produces as-built drawings and software updates; communicates progress to team.
