Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Controls Engineer to lead design, configuration and commissioning of building control systems. You will deliver complex projects, create detailed operation sequences, and coordinate with customers, consultants and field teams to ensure on-time, compliant results.

You should bring a Bachelor's in engineering with extensive HVAC/building controls experience, and strong knowledge of control protocols (BACnet/LON).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or minimum eight years in HVAC/building controls.
• Experience with building automation systems and control theory.
• Knowledge of integrating subsystems via protocols (LON, BACnet).

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures, and services complex building control systems for client facilities.
• Creates drawings, sequences of operations, BOMs, network layouts and schematics.
• Develops software programs for system operation and commissioning.
• Coordinates submittals and communicates design/operation to customers and teams.
• Ensures safety and quality while meeting project timelines.
