Job summary

25 Harris Mountain West, LLC (Ogden) is seeking a construction project assistant to support the BA project manager. The role focuses on maintaining design, budget, and schedule adherence across projects and promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include coordinating with owners, contractors, and design professionals; ensuring OSHA compliance; managing documents, RFIs, and submittals; and assisting with cost tracking and material orders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction materials, tools, and building processes.
• Working knowledge of business administration and project coordination.
• Basic understanding of engineering concepts, electronics, and electrical systems.
• Experience maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience using project management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Customer Satisfaction: Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Safety: Ensure a safe work environment is maintained, appropriate safety systems/processes are utilized, conduct audits per individual project, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety and environmental laws.
• Closeout: Review, organize, and distribute Contract Documents and shop drawings/submittals; manage closeout documentation.
• Documentation: Track changes to scope, draft and track RFIs, attend field meetings, distribute notes, and maintain quality control records.
• Financial: Attend meetings, monitor monthly figures, assist with estimating, ordering materials, and coordinating with vendors.
