Job summary

Siemens Smart Building Internship Program seeks interns for the Anchorage, AK area to gain hands-on experience in HVAC controls and building automation. You’ll rotate through field tech tasks, sales exposure, and project/service operations while learning on-site installation and diagnostics.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a 2-year technical degree in HVAC/building automation with strong communication and teamwork, and a readiness to work outdoors across varied environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment or recent completion in HVAC/Building Automation or related tech program.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program.
• Willing to work onsite without sponsorship for work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on job sites installing, programming, and servicing HVAC automation.
• Assist in diagnostics, maintenance, and equipment commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Document service activities and train customers on system operations.
