Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive new business and grow key accounts in the NY/NJ Northeast region. You will interpret plans, build estimates, and partner with engineering and operations to deliver BAS/BMS solutions aligned with customer needs.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, 2+ years in outside sales, and a proven ability to manage a sales territory while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years outside sales experience in building automation or related industry.
• Strong sales and relationship management skills.
• Ability to interpret plans and estimates for projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Established network in NY/NJ or Northeast construction/facility mgmt.
• Independent work style with strong time management.
• Proven track record in sales territory management and travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve targets.
• Visit clients and prospects to build relationships and assess needs.
• Interpret plans and specifications to estimate projects.
• Present products and services highlighting benefits and value.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain CRM records of activities and market feedback.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive strategies.
