Johnson Controls in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced engineer to design, configure, and operate complete building control systems, including fire, security, lighting, nurse call, and data networks, to meet project requirements.
You will work with field teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficient operation; develop software, prepare submittals, drawings, and schedules; coordinate material orders and factory processes; and assist in commissioning, training for owners, and project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- 3+ years experience in construction or HVAC industry.
- Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.
- Experience integrating low voltage subsystems with LON/BACnet protocols.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
Responsabilités
- Design, configure, and operate building control systems (fire, security, lighting, nurse call, data networks).
- Provide submittals and communication to customers and field teams.
- Develop software programs and test system operations per project requirements.
- Coordinate drawings, equipment schedules, and material orders.
