Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, sustainable buildings, seeks a Control Systems Engineer for the Central Engineering Support Team. You will design, configure, and test complex building control systems, mentor local engineers, and ensure QA/QC standards across regions.

Qualifications

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex system issues.
Deep understanding of BAS programming and HVAC fundamentals.
Solid knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.
Advanced computer skills and experience with engineering tools.
Experience with integrating low-voltage building systems such as lighting.
Familiarity with BACnet and Modbus protocols.

Responsibilities

Under general direction, work on building control systems per contract documents.
Design and configure technically complex building control systems.
Create drawings and schedules for submittals and installation.
Develop and test software to operate the system.
Provide remote troubleshooting and QA/QC compliant deliverables.
Assist in startup, commissioning, and system validation.
Coordinate materials procurement and delivery for projects.
