Job summary

WTW is seeking a consultative Insurance Broker to advise on complex risk management programs, lead broking activities and drive optimal carrier terms for clients. The role emphasizes independent account handling, mentoring junior brokers, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The position focuses on new business placement, renewals, and technical analysis of client risks to secure competitive coverage. Hybrid work styles and collaboration across teams are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5-7 years industry experience.
• Property and Casualty license required.
• Strong group presentation skills (written and verbal); ability to drive complex/technical conversations.
• Relationship management: customer focus, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Negotiation skills: carrier and client negotiation skills.
• Business acumen: knowledge of industries and markets.
• Project Management: ability to manage small projects.
• Leadership: motivates others and promotes teamwork.
• Technical skills: review coverage forms and contracts; run analytics models.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate new business placement, renewals and alterations of existing coverage.
• Develop, review and deliver presentations to secure new relationships.
• Review and evaluate information to assess client risks and aid market placement.
• Research and evaluate solutions to identify optimum risk solutions for clients.
• Provide coverage design advice and needs analysis for improvements.
• Build partnerships with organizations to secure favorable terms for clients.
• Contribute to thought leadership and process improvements in Broking.
• Oversee draft proposals and negotiate carrier quotes and terms.
• Bind carrier quotes and review binders and coverage confirmations.
• Attend client and underwriter meetings; conduct program peer reviews.
