The role involves interviewing customers, advising on loan products and terms, and guiding borrowers through the mortgage process with clear communication.

You will maintain high loan quality, comply with industry regulations, and work toward sales goals, both with builder leads and self-sourced opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years residential mortgage industry experience.
• SC Mortgage Loan Originator license required.
• Must be located within a commutable distance to Charleston, SC.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with builder and customers.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
• Strong technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with builder partner and visit communities regularly.
• Participate in weekly pipeline status meetings.
• Interview customers to determine financial needs and advise on products, terms, and pricing.
• Navigate borrowers through mortgage process.
• Help gather required information through clear and timely communication.
• Maintain high loan quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
