Job summary

DRB Mortgage is seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Originator to join a builder joint venture with built-in volume and growth potential. You will build relationships with our builder partner, visit communities, and guide customers through the mortgage process with clear and timely communication.

The role requires 3–5 years in residential mortgage, a valid SC Mortgage Loan Originator license, and the ability to self-source or work builder leads.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years residential mortgage industry experience.
• SC Mortgage Loan Originator license is required.
• Must be located within a commutable distance to Myrtle Beach, SC.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with builder and customers.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.
• Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
• Strong technology skills; experience with mortgage software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with builder partner and visit communities regularly.
• Participate in weekly pipeline status meetings.
• Interview customers to determine financial needs and advise on products, terms, and pricing.
• Navigate borrowers through mortgage process.
• Help gather required information through clear and timely communication.
• Maintain high loan quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Meet sales goals and objectives.
