Midway Supply Co., Inc. in Middle Tennessee seeks an Outside Sales Representative to expand our book with builders, contractors, and remodelers. You’ll revive stagnant accounts, work inbound leads, and cover open territory with deep product knowledge and practical problem-solving.

From day one you’ll have warm starting points from the yard, website, and walk-ins. Prospect job sites, attend builder breakfasts, knock on doors, and build on a proven book.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is the core requirement for success in this role.
• Candidates should demonstrate ability to build relationships and solve customer problems.
• Experience with building supply, lumber, or construction trades is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the contractor's partner and build/maintain relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, and developers in Middle Tennessee.
• Revive stagnant accounts and actively prospect new opportunities on job sites and at builder breakfasts.
• Take orders on the field, write quotes, and follow projects through delivery and billing; coordinate with inside sales, estimating, and design teams.
• Provide deep product knowledge across framing, sheathing, windows, doors, siding, roofing, decking, trim, and finish to fit needs and budget.
• Solve problems on-site and bring market intelligence back to the yard to stay ahead of builder needs.
