Job summary

D.R. Horton, America's Builder, is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator in the Financial Services Branch in Biloxi, Mississippi.

You will promote business development, originate loans, and manage relationships with customers and clients in a fast-paced homebuilding environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, 1–2 years of mortgage experience, and a valid driver's license with an active LMO license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 1–2 years of related mortgage experience or training.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Interview mortgage applicants to explain financing options and goals.
• Manage the loan pipeline from application to funding.
• Provide disclosures to applicants in a timely manner per regulations.
• Develop business leads and travel to builder communities.
• Present loan products in sales meetings and with builders.
• Maintain reports and notes in origination software and CRM.
