Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to promote and originate loans, manage customer relationships, and drive business development in builder communities. You will educate buyers on financing options and coordinate with sales teams to ensure a smooth loan process.

Responsibilities include pipeline management, presenting loan products at meetings, and delivering timely disclosures. A valid driver’s license and flexibility for overtime and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 1–2 years of related mortgage origination experience.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants to educate on financing options and program fit.
• Maintain reports and notes in origination software and CRM.
• Manage daily pipeline from application to funding.
• Present loan products in sales meetings and builder communities.
• Provide disclosures timely per regulations.
• Travel overnight and support weekend builder events.
