Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc., America's Builder, is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to promote and originate mortgage loans, manage client relationships, and drive business development within our Financial Services Branch.

The ideal candidate will interview applicants, explain financing options, maintain CRM notes, review leads, and coordinate with sales and operations to ensure timely disclosures and a smooth loan process; a valid MLO license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Interview mortgage applicants to understand and educate them on financing options.
• Maintain reports and notes within origination software and CRM systems.
• Review new leads daily and contact them to earn their business.
• Daily pipeline management from application to funding to ensure a smooth loan process.
• Provide necessary disclosures to applicants in a timely manner per regulations.
• Attend loan closings when possible.
